Head Chef and Owner Tim Pratt is all about flavour. The freshest of ingredients nurtured to produce imaginative flavour packed contemporary Australian dishes. The menu reflects the best of seasonal produce and a number of dishes are changed every few weeks so there is always something new to explore.

The Journeyman caters for special dietary requirements. Vegetarian dishes are available. Tim can also produce special dishes of your own choice if you let him know when you make your booking.

The wine list has been carefully selected by Sommelier Deb Pearce-Pratt. Over 200 wines - Highlands local, Australian and overseas - are available, many by the glass. Deb will be pleased to assist with selecting the perfect wine to complement your meal.

A Note on Menu Prices - 10% weekday discount

In July 2010 we had to change our menu prices due to wage and other cost increases. We limited our price increases as far as possible and, as our weekend costs are higher than weekdays, we increased weekend prices only.

Many restaurants have coped with weekend costs by printing "10% surcharge on weekends" on their menus, but the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has banned surcharges and requires the full price to be printed on weekend menus.

So our menus now show the weekend prices. Our weekday prices are 10% less. The ACCC says it's illegal to add a surcharge, but it's OK to give a discount, so that is what we do.

The 10% discount applies to the total bill. Side dishes, drinks and even the BYO service charge are all 10% less on weekdays. So, while our weekend prices have risen, our weekday prices are lower than previously.
